Any trip to Champaign would not be complete without a stop at the Orignial Pancake House, which is Eric and Kim's restaurant. Riah loves to try different things on the menu. I tend to get the same things, as does Wayne, but no matter what you get, it is all perfection. If you ever find yourself in Champaign, go. It's that simple.
Uncle Eric took Riah into his office and they played with the copy machine when Riah finished eating. Rane was also working at his dad's place that morning, so we saw him while he was on a break.
When we left there, we stopped at a store Brad likes, then headed towards Rogers house. Roger lives pretty close, but out of town. In his small town, we visited a soda shop, and had fun checking out all the varieties she sold. We all tried different types, and Riah got some neat pop tops to bring home from the lady who owned the shop. She sold Original Formula Dr Pepper from Texas, and we remembered our Texas adventures.
When we came back to town, I bought Riah a Chief Illini ball cap, since the NCAA are making them change the mascot. He has wanted one and we knew this would probably be the last trip we could find him one.
The whole family met up at Zas for supper, then we all went back to Grandma's till midnight when Raney went to find Harry Potter on sale. The guys and Sierra played PIT for a long time, Kim and I talked and enjoyed precious little Emma. It was nice to get to spend extra time with Kim and Emma, I love them both and miss them! I was glad Harry Potter came out that day ;)
