We met Chris's family in Peoria, halfway between Champaign and his home in Iowa at Chuck E Cheese. Riah was more excited about a trip with Grandma than the trip to CEC but it didn't work that she could come.
We got to spend a few hours with the Jennifer, Timothy, Matthew and Joshua, as well as Jenny's friend and Chris and Paula. Riah liked the jet ski ride, after hearing about Tyler's jet ski adventure, getting to ride a fake one was the next best thing for him. He really looks up to Tyler and I suppose anything Tyler did would sound fun to him.
When we left CEC, we stopped by Wayne's college, Bradley University to show Riah, but there was construction and all the engineering buildings were not able to be gotten to. We also realized they had leveled the house Wayne had lived in. But, Riah still got to see where his dad went to college. He left with a greater love for Penn State though, and both his dad and I are happy about that ;)
We met Eric and family for mini golf that evening. Emma was really sweet with her little club. She liked to get everyone's ball out of the hole for them. I enjoyed the batting cage once they finished golfing. We all enjoyed yet more Mexican at El Toro! The salsa and cheese dip were devine. Riah loved his chicken ranchero salad.
Riah and Seirra watched tv when we got back to Grandma's then we headed to bed early preparing for a long drive home.
