Destruction of a VCR

Why are they tearing apart a VCR? Not to fix it I assure you. It's an exercise in letting Ri use tools and learn to explore with a piece of electronic equipment that Wayne declared not worth fixing. (People used to give us old VCRS and computers for him to fix, we have lots to get rid of. I am MORE than glad to let him play with this and then throw it away!) He had fun looking at it, using tools and seeing how it worked.
